Visiting Locum

We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Brandon Spinks to the Gabriola Medical Clinic! He’ll be working in the clinic for the next two weeks. Please give him a friendly ‘Gabriola Hello’ if you see him in the Clinic or out and about on the island. Visiting locums – doctors who help out on a short-term basis – and medical residents from UBC’s family medicine program routinely augment the medical staff at the Gabriola Medical Clinic. Helping to recruit and retain medical professionals is one of the key roles of the volunteer-run Gabriola Health Care Foundation.
