Come help us celebrate!
The Gabriola Health Care Foundation is celebrating a milestone accomplishment on Sept. 13, 2025 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. and we’d love you to come join us!
The Foundation recently completed an exciting new project that doubles the amount of potable water available to the Gabriola Community Health Centre. Our new Additional Water Storage Facility includes an innovative system for harvesting and filtering rainwater. This new source of potable water doubles the existing storage capacity to 15,000 gallons.
We’re told that the Gabriola Community Health Centre is one of the first rural-remote health-care facilities in B.C. to install this kind of system.
You’re invited to come help us celebrate and get a tour of the new facility on Sat., Sept. 13. Opening remarks start at 11 a.m. Pop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a tour of the new facility, and stick around for cookies, drinks and a chance to find out more about how the volunteer-run Gabriola Health Care Foundation is working to improve health care on Gabriola Island.
RSVPs to admin@ghcf.ca would be appreciated.
