Role of GHCF
The role of the Gabriola Health Care Foundation (GHCF, the Foundation) is to actively engage with the Ministry of Health, Island Health, Snuneymuxw First Nation, and local organizations in developing innovative and sustainable approaches to the delivery of primary health-care services our community needs, while continuing to maintain and operate the physical assets of the Gabriola Community Health Centre and the property.

The Gabriola Health Care Foundation built, owns, and maintains the Gabriola Community Health Centre, which comprises a variety of rented spaces, including the Gabriola Medical Clinic’s three-bay emergency stabilization care facility and an adjacent helicopter landing pad.
