The Gabriola Health Care Foundation (GHCF) is a non-profit society and a registered charity that owns, maintains and administers the Gabriola Community Health Centre
on behalf of all the residents of Gabriola. It is important that the Foundation can demonstrate strong community support as it works with the Health Authorities and other partners to bring better health care to the residents of the Island. Thus, the GHCF Board would like to significantly increase the registered membership in the Foundation and would encourage all those who support the Health Centre to join GHCF
Being a member of GHCF lets you attend all annual and special general meetings of GHCF and lets you participate in making major decisions about its operation.

Under GHCF bylaws, to be eligible to be a member of the society, an individual must:
(a) reside (full-time or part-time) on or own land in the Gabriola Island Local Trust area (which includes Gabriola, Mudge and De Courcy Islands), and
(b) be 19 years of age or older.
The GHCF Constitution and Bylaws can be accessed from the website's home page. According to the Bylaws there is no registration fee or annual fee.
